After the shock of what happened at the Triwizard Tournament, no one dared to believe that Voldemort was indeed back. Shortly after Harry's departure of hogwarts, the Daily Prophet started printing up stories telling everyone that the events having to do with Potter clearly never happened. Minister Cornelius Fudge would rather push the subject aside and ignore the problems it brought. As Cornelius ignored the problem, the Daily Prophet let their fabricating lies go on. People didn't know where to go and as rumors and gossip spread so did other things. Those whom read the Daily Prophet started to believe the silly lies it produced and as things went sour so did peoples opinions.
Everything started to go down hill and people started to think everything was back to normal. They even thought that it could never happen again. People started questioning such things saying, " He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named coming back? What nonsense!" What would it take to make others believe the truth? The Daily Prophet sure wasn't going to print up the truth anytime soon, after all they'd rather ignore the problem and lie than ever tell the truth.
Harry knew what he saw that night and the events had stayed with him sense, he still even had dreams about Cedric's horrific death. At the end of the term headmaster Dumbledore resurrected the Order of the Phoenix once more. As time got progressed and the next term grew near, Voldemort grew stronger. No news of any disappearances grazed the front sheets of the Prophet, this left everyone to believe that Potter indeed, lied.
People all started to believe that he lied about Voldemort being back, which made people began to think Harry was in fact seeking attention. His fame lowered but never did disappear, even the Order Members don't buy into it for a minute. Everyone was fooled. It was the perfect plan, at least... for Voldemort. But the Order was ready to fight again, maybe there was hope after all?
One day on the driest day of the summer something happened. Mundungus Fletcher whom had been assigned to watch over Potter, left for just a mere second. Within that second a Dementor attacked Harry and his cousin Dudley. While Potter's neighbor Ms. Figg heard and immediately sent Dumbledore an urgent owl informing him of all of the happenings. Dumbledore then got a group together to fetch Harry from his aunt and uncles home.
It was no longer safe for him. And most of all it was no longer safe for anyone.
During the next night a group that called themselves the 'Advance Guard' fetched Harry from his aunt and uncles flat and delivered him safely at Grimmauld Place. This is where Potter was taught all the stuff he had told Dumbedore had been translated into a lie. He hated that the only ones that believed him were the Order, why would anyone else believe him or even trust him for that matter? The worst was yet to come. Now while Potter awaited to go back to Hogwarts he was told that Voldemort was looking for a weapon, something he didn't have last time... something much better. This left Harry as well as the others puzzled at what it meant and what it could possibly be.
What does it have in store for them?
What exactly does it have in store for the students?
Will they believe him that Voldemort has returned or will they still side with the Daily Prophet?
...in the light of Voldemort's return, we are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided. Lord Voldemort's gift for spreading discord and enmity is very great. We can fight it only by showing an equally strong bond of friendship and trust. Differences of habit and language are nothing at all if our aims are identical and our hearts are open.
