They had reached The Leaky Cauldron, where they were able to trade a few gold coins for two rooms, at least until they visited Gringrotts. The six of them entered one room together, hoping to discuss what to do. The spell had gone wrong, but not too off. They were supposed to be mid-year visitors, but school, as if Luna was correct, had not start yet. Once they got settled, at least the three boys, they sat around the bed in silence before Luna muttered something, Neville replying under his breath.
"I think we should talk about getting into Hogwarts." Harry started.
"We just walk up--"
"We can't just go through the gates, Ronald. How about we filter in with the rest of the crowd when they . . . when they get off the train in the village," Hermione answered, getting out a piece of parchment out of her bag, a pen to join. She started writing down plans before Neville brought up the question no one wanted to answer. "How is Luna going to communicate with us if she's in Ravenclaw Common Room?"
Ginny shared looks with Harry, who sighed and turned to Hermione. She shook her head, pretending to ignore the question as she wrote down in her quickened pace. Finally, she turned her head up, looking at Luna. "McGonagall said she . . . she would have to be sorted into Gryffindor, with the rest of us."
Knowing she was slightly annoyed, Ginny suggested that they part for the night and go to their separate rooms; the boys and the girls saying good bye to one another. Once the girls had disappeared up the hall, the boys stripped into their underwear, something that left Neville flustered and shakened, and went to bed, but Harry kept awake, his green eyes staring up at ceiling.
