"Bloody...terrifying place...Just...ugh."
The girl's muttering echoed throughtout the forest. Meeting Harry there was probably a foolish idea. For all she knew, the boy was sitting up in the warm common room with Hermione and Ron, laughing about Blaze's idiocity. It had been Harry's idea to meet deep in the forest where none of their plans or discussions would be overheard by any of the people from the past.
She'd send up a red flag to alert Harry of her presence if he HAD planned on meeting her there. More than likely, he had, considering they were friends and she hadn't known him to ever stand up important details on the take down of the Dark Lord.
However, meeting in the forest didn't sound fun. It seemed that, even though it was just a tad younger, it was a lot creepier twenty years prior to her last touch with the forest. Even if that was at night. Whether or not, it was growing darker by the moment and if Hary didn't hurry and meet her soon, they'd probably have to sneak back under his invisibility cloak. If he remembered to bring it, that is. If not, they'd have a hell of a time trying to get back into the castle.
The girl kept on, her jacket tied around her waist. The heat wasn't quite as bad because of the forest's shade. Hands in her pockets, she carried on through the trees, her old chuck taylors slipped on the occasion root or log. She tugged at the back of her wifebeater to pull it over her belt. It just ended up showing it once more.
Finally, with a lazy sigh, she took a seat on a stump and leaned against a tree right behind him.
It was up to him to meet her now.

At night the forest was dangerous. This, Harry Potter knew, though defeating Lord Voldemort was even more important than his own safety, or just about the same, he wasn't sure. Yes, Voldemort's downfall was important to the whole wizarding world, and Harry was abit less, popular than the whole downfall thing, but, it was he, Harry Potter, who was the one supposed to be Voldemort's downfall, so in consideration, he was just as important, right?
Harry sat in the common room his head down and his hands together as his emerald green eyes bore into the depths of the fire that raged in the fire place, heating the whole common room. Harry loved the feeling that he got when it was just him in the common room, the only noise was the logs cracking against the fire's immense heat. Harry put his hands on his knees as he pushed himself backwards into the comfy chair, allowing a small sigh to escape his lips. Then, he crossed his arms as thoughts entered and exited his own mind. He was just a bit tired though was a bit afraid to fall asleep. These days Harry couldn't go to sleep.
It was when he slept that haunting memories passed through him and he'd do anything to not have to go back to those memories. His mother's terryfing yell as she had been murdered by Voldemort, Cedric's Death, Sirius's Death, Dumbledore's funeral and death, everything. It seemed that Harry couldn't get a single happy memory into him these days, and this kept him awake and aware, even though he usually lay in bed, eyes wide open, staring into nothingness as he awaited for sleep to come to himself.
A loud crack of fire took him from his thoughts and at that moment he pushed himself out of the chair and crossed the common room, lifting a hand and ruffling his glasses before pushing his glasses back onto his nose with his index finger. Then, he crossed over once more and grabbed what he had been sitting on the whole time in the chair, his invisibility cloak. It had been his father's when his father was alive, and now he had it, as his own. He pushed the portrait hole open with some force and disappeared into the halls of Hogwarts Castle.
Harry roamed the corridors slowly until he finally threw the cloak over himself, then quickened his pace through out Hogwarts. When he heard sounds, he made sure he paused and took slow breaths, making sure they weren't loud enough for anyone to hear. Once he was sure that the person had left, he went back to his usual pace and soon found himself at Hogwarts Great Oak doors. Quickly pushing them open, he slipped his slim figure through them, and out into the darkness of the night, though the grounds were lit up with moonlight that cast down.
Harry broke into a run when he was outside, though he did make sure that he kept the cloak on. He loved the wind that blew against his form as he ran, it felt so good, so relieving. Then it all ended as he haulted for a moment and took a small gulp, digging in his pocket with his right hand and grabbing his wand and holding it tightly, lifting it up. He stood infront of the Forbidden Forest now. "Lumos.", he said softly, a light igniting on the tip of his wand.
The travel throught he forest was scary and dark, nonetheless eery as well. It wasn't too long though, which was what he loved about the trip. Finally Harry found the girl standing lone in the woods, a terrified expression clad upon her face. "You alright??", he questioned, before pulling the cloak off of himself, revealing. She looked at him and he could see a sign of relief pass her face, which made him smile, only a bit. "Alright. Busniess."

So Blaze was stuck there, very much alone. Who knows what could have been waiting for her? The thoughts exhausted her, and with a sigh, she sat against a stump and looked around at what little light there was. Shutting her eyes, she leaned her head back against the tree and let sleep fall over her.
It wasn't long after that she'd jumped to her feet, wand ready. She had been sure an icy hand had brushed over her neck, trailing to her shoulder. Of course, when she looked around, expecting to find Harry, laughing at her, she found that she was alone, still drowned in the pitch black night. With a groan she lifted her wand and muttered,
"Lumos," into the darkness. It only took half a second, but a beam of light emitted from the lip, breaking through the darkness. Her eyes fell on a bush that seemed to shift and, as curiosity took the best of her, she stepped toward it. However, she stopped when she heard the crack of a twig behind her. Frozen, and scared, she trembled as the thing drew nearer.
"You alright?"
Blaze jerked and pointed her wand, directly toward the voice only to give a sigh of relief and drop her arm at her side as Harry stepped out from under his cloak. She was relieved for a moment before she coughed and drew on her serious expression, though there was a tint of red in her cheeks.
"Harry," she greeted. "Right. Business."
Opening her mouth to speak again, her eyes traveled over his shoulder to a drawing shadow behind him. The air turned cold, sour, like it was tainted. She tried to speak but taunting filled her head.
"Dog girl, dog girl!"
"Who'd give their kid a name like Blaze? What a freak!"
"And Wolfe? What were they thinking?!"
"Dog girl, dog girl!"
Her eyes had tightly shut and a look of physical pain swept across her.
"Harry, move!" she managed out, as she grabbed him, pulling him behind her as several more dementors swept out after the first. They seemed to multiply because, in time, there were six gliding toward them. Wand at ready, she thought of the DA and called out her defense.
"EXPECTO PATRONUM!"
The tiger burst from her wand, forming and taking shape as if it had been pouncing. It landed, gracefully, on the ground and gave a fierce roar as it tore into two of the beasts. The others, seemingly unaffected, drew closer as the tiger tried to rip apart the others.
"Stay put!" she demanded of Harry, cold feelings and thoughts drowning her as she ran to the side and jumped on a log.
"HEY YOU UGLY GITS! C'MERE! C'MON! I HAVE A TON OF GOOD MEMORIES YOU CAN TAKE FROM ME! COME ON!" she called, trying to get their attention.

The cold air and cracking of trees and leaves becoming frozen was all to well known to the young Potter. His senses spoke out, his eyes widened, and he lifted his wand, alert and ready, his eyes scanning around himself as he breathed slowly, but calmly. He saw the creatures that gave this effect, the dementors, and all he could hear were screams from his dying mother. He stepped a bit back, but began to take his stand, when Blaze grabbed his arm and forcefully pushed him backwards behind her own figure, with a force that Harry wouldn't have thought a girl could give out like she had.
Harry kept his wand raised and watching in amazement as Blaze conjured her on patronus and fought the dementors as they swam their wand in the air currents towards him. Clenching his teeth, Harry stepped forwards once more wanting to aid the young girl with the creatures, but she would not allow it and finally Harry stepped back, and allowed her to fight.
As Harry did this he felt even more coldness sweep over him and lifted his free arm to cover his body, in a way to heat his body up a bit more. His eyes shut tightly, a hand soaring up to his forhead, clenching his scar in pain, pain that he only felt when Voldemort was around, or when he was angry. He clenched his teeth before yelling out in agony, stepping back and tripping over a branch that lay upon the cold ground. He hit hard, laying on the ground in a mangled mess, clenching his scar, and trying to block out the memories of his past.
Harry tried to take calm breathes but it just wasn't working for him. The pain was overwelming, his eyes watered under the eyelids as he continued to scream out in pain. Harry swallowed hair and continued to scream, trying to move himself but once again he failed to do so. He lifted another hand to his head, and clenched his teeth, dealing .
"No!"
His eyes popped open, as the sounds of his mother's screams echoed throughout the forest or though it seemed to him as he lay there. He wouldn't allow this to overwelm him, if he was going to fight the Dark Lord himself, he'd have to be stronger than this. Of course his scar hurt many times before but nothing quite like this. In a moment it died down, and Harry was able to push himself back to his feet.

"COME ON!"
Blaze had continued to make a big racket, demanding the attention of the dementors as they drew closer to Harry. Her teeth grit, she continued to call, cursing them out, trying to give them rude names and draw them away from Harry, who seemed to stand as if he had no idea what to do. She swung her arms around in the air, trying to get their attention, jumping up and down, screaming, anything to get them away from Harry...
And it happened. They seemed to be side tracked by the foolish girl that demanded their attention, taunting them, doing everything they could. Blaze watched, in horror, as Harry clutched his scar and fell, hitting the ground behind him. However, he seemed fine at the moment now that the cloaked beings were no longer swarming around him. Suddenly, she remembered where she was and held onto her thoughts of the DA. Harry, seemingly helpless, was being pursued by two of them again. Blaze grit her teeth and the most noble of thoughts swept over her as she recalled a memory.
"You must protect Harry!"
Blaze sat, eyes on the ground as she humbly lowered her head in respect to Remus Lupin. The graying man was pacing in front of her. "Remember, we're sending you with them. You have to protect Harry, have to maintain an eye on him. Blaze, he is your responsibility."
"...AT all costs,"
"Precisely my dear."
Blaze was drawn back and gritting her teeth, she jerked her head in the direction of her patronus.
"Hey!"
The tiger obediently turned toward it's master, it's silvery body billowing as if it were a cloud.
"Guard Harry!"
The tiger, immediately bounded in front of the young man, circling him, keeping it's master's wish to save the young man. Blaze backed into the tree, wand at ready as cold thoughts drew over her. Desperately, she tried to hold on.
"Dog girl, dog girl!"

As Harry stood and regained his composture he could only watch as Blaze fought for her dear life and happy memories though when she backed into the tree he felt a surge of brave and courageness swim through his heart as he pushed himself even further towards them, and he watched as her own patronus came and defended him for as long as it could. He was thankful to her for doing what she could to protect him against these horrible creatures. He knew though that not one person, whether great wizard or not, could take millions of Dementors at once, it just wasn't possible, sooner or later, they'd find a way through.
"Expecto Patronum!"
Harry yelled this with force, his wand pointed directly at the bunch of dementors that had begun to circle around Blaze's fading body. He held onto his wand, and his eyes narrowed, and glared over at the black shadows. He clenched his teeth, and watched as a gust of wind swept over him before his own patronus appeared out of the tip of his wand.
"Alright. Now what?", he continually asked himself as he pushed himself further and further towards Blaze's body, directing his wand at any Dementor that came towards him or began to fly towards Blaze, and his stag destroyed the dementors as they came. He dropped his wand, feeling as though they had all left, he thought it was just him that felt cold at this point.
"Please don't let her die. Please...", Harry said outloud as he lifted a hand putting it to her forehead and brushing the few strands of hair that fell down upon her cold, though sweaty face. He clenched his teeth as he removed his hoodie and placed it upon Blaze's body, feeling that this was the only right thing and the only thing he could do at this point.
That's when his body became colder and colder and his eyes shot open though his reaction wasn't quick enough. The dementors swept over him, sucking the soul out of him, and had began to attack Blaze as well, who lay unconscience on the floor right beside him. More screaming and yelling fell into his ears as he gasped for breath against the creatures.
"Expecto.. ", Harry began, grabbing his wand as fast as he could without falling down himself. "Expecto..", he couldn't finish it, his energy was partially drained out of him and the only thing he could do to keep Blaze alive was to give himself up, though this wasn't working ethier, she was getting attacked at the same time he was. Suddenly, he could see Dumbledore looking over him, he swore he could see him standing there, watching his every action. "Expecto Patronum!", he yelled, and once he yelled this, he blacked out.

It had felt like hours later when Blaze even began to stir. She felt a stiffness beside her, and over her, something tangling her arms up. However, she thought nothing of it as she left her eyes closed. She couldn't remember what had happened until, moments later, everything came flooding back, hitting her like a bludger to the head. She had panicked, and when she felt the hoodie over her, the scent of Harry on it (her tiger animagus form had given her acute senses, as well as some other animalistic traits), she'd panicked, thinking that Harry was...gone, his body laying across hers, as if his dying goal had been to keep her safe. Guilt flooded over her and tears nearly welled up as the "truth" hit her. Sitting directly up, she called his name, the hoodie falling in her lap as she looked around, frantically.
It wasn't Harry, that the scent had come from, but his hoodie, that had been placed over her hastily. She smiled, momentarily. Bless him.
Turning, quickly, her hand still in hand, she looked around for Harry, only to find his body a few inches away, his hand had been beside her head, where he'd moved her hair away. Groaning, she checked his pulse and sighed as she realized he was alive. Standing, feebily, she decided that they were no longer safe there and pointed her wand again.
"Expecto patronum!" she said, holding onto the thought of Harry and the army. The tiger formed again and circled her and Harry once it had found no danger. A loud, long purring escaped it's throat that seemed to come and go with the end.
"I need you to lead us through." she said, directly to the animal that seemed to purr and stretch before making it's way through the forest, going only deeper. Of course, unknown to Blaze's knowledge. With all the strength she could muster, she pulled Harry onto her back with her arms and knelt, allowing her body to take form of the white tiger. Immediately, Harry's body over hers, she followed the patronus into the forest.
It wasn't long before they were lead into a clearing and Blaze slowly turned back into a girl, knealing on all fours. Carefully, she laid Harry down and moved around the edge, collecting wood from the sides. Carefully, she moved to the middle and set them together while her silvery patronus remained, lying at Harry's side.
"Incendio." she pointed her wand to the pile once she'd built it and a fire sprung up. Soon after, she took the seat beside Harry and let go of the thoughts of the DA, the tiger slowly disolving.
